Two Latvian men were arrested inside RAF Molesworth in Cambridgeshire after military police discovered an abandoned vehicle outside the base in the early hours of Thursday, according to the Guardian.
The men, aged 32 and 36, were detained at 2am on suspicion of trespass, causing criminal damage and entering a prohibited place. The investigation began around 10pm on Wednesday when military personnel found the vehicle outside the facility's perimeter.
RAF Molesworth is used by the US military and Nato for intelligence operations. The base hosts sensitive allied work, making any breach a serious security concern.
